How GOD has used Young Harmony to change individual's lives.
Hi, My name is Anna. I emailed you about your music the other day. I just wanted to share a little with you about what your song "God Has Not Forgotten You " means to me. I was going thru a divorce after 30 years of marriage and my friend gave me your cd to listen to that particular song. Sometimes I did wander if God was still there and the song was given to me at a time when I was really struggling with the question if God really heard my prayers? This song just really blessed me and I played it over and over just to get it into my spirit! You will never know just how much this song witnessed to me and I thank God for people like your group that will let God be God. Thank you so much and may God richly bless you in all that you do.

Yours in Christ,
Anna

Greetings in Jesus name.
We were at a concert that you had at the Gospel Chicken House  and we were blessed. The testimony that you all have is a blessing to us. We think we overheard Ginger say at the table after the concert that she had cancer 6
yrs. ago, and God healed her, so have we had cancer. My wife had breast cancer almost 5 years ago and I had prostate cancer a couple of years ago and today we are cancer free. My wife just recently had her 5 year examine
and was released from the cancer center. The last test I had proved the cancer was gone. I will be having another test soon, and I will continue to believe God has completely healed us for his glory. May the Lord continue to bless your ministry abundantly in every way; in particular with souls for His Kingdom. God Bless.

Johnathan and Ginger
Carroll and I wanted to express to both of you once again how much you two blessed us on Sunday morning at Wise First Church.  We have had several groups here over the past few years but none have been able to touch our congregation like you guys did.  The Holy Spirit is very evident in both of your lives and our prayer is that God will continue to use you both to build His Kingdom.  Everybody is still talking about the service and I am sure that they will be for quite a while.  We are truly looking forward to your coming again for a visit.

I wanted to give you an update, last night at church I asked my pastor to play the part of the cd that has your car accident in it, because waiting til November to hear your awesome work it is just to long. Church was incredible, after the cd ended people that has not gave there testimonies in a long time were beside themselves they could not help it, they where singing, reading scriptures out of the bible and everything. It was awesome! Anyway my husband and I have tried to a baby now for almost 2 years my doctor diagnosed me with polycystic ovaries, I have prayed, cried and begged, but last night I believe God will give me a baby because I felt relief last night. Just pray for me if you will that God's will be done. I can't wait until you guys come in November the whole church is so excited! God bless you guys always. Also thank you for your work you all are doing.

Your Friend in Christ,
Misty Brackins

Hello,

My husband and I have heard your testimony on Tunes4Him.com about the girl named Angie. My husband is the senior pastor of the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Canandaigua, NY. We absolutely love your story and have been deeply touched by it, what a truly Awesome God we serve!! My husband, Reuben Zeigler, was wondering if he could have your permission to use that story in a sermon sometime to share with our church people. You can email me back at this email address with your answer.

Thanks so much and keep up the good work,
Susanna Zeigler

Hello Ginger and John,

I'm Jennifer, the one you met at BRC today outside after the bus had pulled up. I had taken a tour of the bus and then I shook your hand and said "My name is Jennifer, I work here and I volunteer here, it's nice to meet you." It really was nice meeting you. :)

I have to admit at first I was debating on listening to your singing. Mainly because I was very tired, I had something strongly on my mind, and I was rather down because of it. Physically I was there in the Brick Room, I could be seen, but mentally, I wasn't there at all. I am saved, it's just I was in deep concentration of something else and so I wasn't mentally into the program. I'm sure you've been there too.

The one thing I loved about your singing was not only your voices, how they blend and your southern accent with it too, but the reactions on your faces as you sung, and how you "got! your hands involved" as you sang as well. It brought back memories of when I was in high school choir for all 4 years. Ms. Smith always told us when we practiced singing, "What you perform is what you practice." She always told us that when we practice our singing at home, to add energy to our faces. Really get into the song. And it made a huge difference when you watched the performance on tape. You could tell on the tape who had energy and who didn't. So anytime I went on stage, I always made sure I was smiling and getting into the song. And when I thought it wasn't being noticed, she'd let me know I was wrong. Because she'd compliment me and say, "I appreciate you having energy as you're singing," or, "You really get into the song!" So, as for you two, while others may have only been noticing your voices in your singing, I looked beyond the voices. I noticed the facial expressions and the way you used your hands, and your your posture too and ! I must say great job! Like I said, I remember doing just that in high school, so I could tell you "performed what you practiced." It was noticed. :) I mention posture because you can tell when someone is really into the song when they stand up straight and tall and really sing out and put their heart into it. Whereas others could just stand there looking dead and not a word comes out of them. That was another thing Ms. Smith always stressed in choir. Posture was a plus in choir!

Hey listen, I would love to introduce more of myself to you, but I don't want to take up your time. I know you have a busy schedule, so I don't want to hold you up from anything. But if you'd like to know more about me, I'd be happy to introduce myself even more. I would also be willing to share my testimony of how I met the Lord. I will say this though, I am the same age as your oldest child. :) Didn't look it did I? hehe!!

Again it was great t! o meet you too. If it makes your day to hear this, you two are lovely people. I mean it :) Hope to see you again! Maybe you'd be interested in performing at my church.

I'll let you go for now, I am sure you have things to do. I am always checking my email and replying to it, so I will be looking forward to hearing from you! :)

In God's love,

I recently had the opportunity to hear the two of you on the RTC Ringgold channel. What a blessing to hear the songs that you sing. As I sat there & watched, tears streaming down my face, to realize we serve such an awesome God. I enjoyed hearing Johnathan's testimony, it was very moving. I think it is wonderful what the two of you are doing. Thanks for all you do, I will definitely be purchasing a CD..

Thanks is not enough to say to you all. The turnout was very good for us, but the participation was the best that I have ever seen from the audience in my church. I wanted to share about those who came forward. Two were my daughter & son-in-law. They both are working in their first schools and are working in difficult positions, especially my daughter. She is in inner-city middle school (Orchard Knob) in Chattanooga. The other lady who came up and our pastor was talking to was a grandmother who is raising several grand children who has one (Angela) who just apparently found out that she is pregnant from a 19 year old. I hope and pray that she is not! The grandmother is raising about 6 or 7 grandchildren and doesn't need a great grand child. Pray for these situations. THANKS!! You all were truly a blessing! I pray that God continues to bless you all. I really appreciate your sweet spirit. I know that it is easy to get a haughty spirit when the Lord blesses like he has you all. Thanks so much. -- In Christian love -- B.J. Tipton

Pray for our concert with Chris McDaniel on April 29.

Hi Johnathan.
I was listening to Mark Lowry's new CD in the car this morning and the first song on the CD hit me so hard. It's called "Be The Miracle" and I would swear that it was written about you and your life. It just reminded me again about how thankful and blessed I am to be able to call you and Ginger my friends. I'm not sure if you realize how bit your sphere of influence is... and I know you won't know the full extent of your faithfulness until you get to heaven, but I talk to a lot of people and EVERYBODY knows Young Harmony (or at least has seen the billboard!) and everyone has a Johnathan story to tell. But the thing I hear most often is how something you did or said encouraged, blessed or help them in their walk with God... or in some cases just helped them get through the day. I'm so thankful that God has let our paths cross. There is not a day that goes by that I don't pray for Young Harmony (Ginger and her backup singer) and smile knowing that I know you are doing exactly what HE wants to you do. So thanks again for all you do.

Love Ya... and we'll see you soon!
Mark

Hello young harmony...just wanted to let you know that our church is still excited about your visit with us...there were folks in the congregation that we have been praying for...for months... that God would move in their lives...and that they would rededicate their lives back to the Lord...God chose you guys at that very place and time that you would have the right words and the right song to touch their hearts and cause them to come back to Him...there was one particular man that has been coming for months...he never moves...never says anything and always seemed to be the type that would not be moved by too much of anything...(LOL)...anyway...when he came up to the altar crying...we were all so excited...he rededicated his life to the Lord and even came to our fall festival that we have every year for the children...and his facial expression showed the change that God has made in his life...there was also a particular lady that had backslid on the Lord several months back and would come to church some but would not move and she told us that she would harden her heart each time there was an altar call...my wife went to her when Johnathon said to go hug someone...she would not let go of the back of the pew...she was crying and my wife told her that God was still standing where she left Him...with outstretched arms...waiting for her so He could pick her up and wipe away the tears...she told my wife it was just not fair...not fair at all...the funny part about this is...that what she was saying...was that most of the time she would harden her heart against the drawing of God...but...at that particular time she was unable to fight it...and it was just not fair...(LOL)...i love when God shows up and shows out...God is good...we love the work that you guys are doing for the Lord...hope to see you again real soon...Lighthouse Pentecostal Church...Kannapolis-north Carolina...Pastor Billy Claytor claytorblly@aol.com

I want all Young Harmony fans out there to know that I know a lot of people in the gospel music industry, and I'm sad to say that all of them aren't what they claim to be. Johnathan and Ginger are true ministers of the Gospel and they walk what they talk! I can't begin to tell you how God has used them both to meet needs in my life and ministry (including but not limited to cold milk and oreos). Guys, thank you for being willing to be used by God over and over again and being a great example of what we need more of in Gospel Music and the world!

We have a big group from church going Friday.

Dear Johnathan & Ginger:

I love your music, but more that that, I love your testimonials! I bought your 5-pack of CD'S and have played the testimonial CD more than any of the others. Every time I listen to it, it stirs me to be aware of what the Lord may be asking me to do. In my younger years, I used to think that I could never hear from God like that, unless perhaps I had been through a near death experience….but that is just not true! God is no respecter of persons, and what he’s done for others he will also do for me. Your testimonials have inspired me to keep my eyes, ears and heart open to wherever God may lead. I know whenever I get to do something “out of the ordinary” for God, you all will be one of the first to hear about it. Keep going, encouraging, building up, lifting up, and may God richly bless your family, your ministry, and may His peace abound in your daily life!

God Bless You!

Thank you so much for your help and for your generosity. I do want you to know how much the song "God has not forgotten you" has touched my heart. The first time I heard it was in the car on my way to work. I listen very carefully to the words of songs. And I cried all the way to work because I was not having very good days at the time. You see my husband is overseas in Iraq and I have allot on my plate w/2 kids to take care of also. The song just made me realize again that in all our despair God is there and won't forget us. The Lord is Lord of my life and I just needed a reminder. I sing in church sometimes and the only songs that I like to sing is songs that help me get through life's trials and I like to just pass the message along. Just like the other song called "Press On". God says keep Pressing On I'll be there all the way. And I won't forget you either. "We know that everything that happens, fits into a pattern for good, to those who Love God." Romans 8:28
Have a wonderful day and God Bless You All!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for bringing Young Harmony to our church. They were one of the finest groups we have ever had. Their music was wonderful but to me what is more important is their heart. They were REAL! They were SINCERE! They were SPIRITUAL!
Also for a Sunday morning, I felt like it was a worship service instead of a concert or entertainment. To me that is essential on Sunday. I truly enjoyed the service and felt the movement of the Holy Spirit.

Again, thank you
Pastor Steve

Hi all, I wanted to pass this along. At the TA truck stop across the street, there is a TFC Chapel. On the forth weekend of each mo. This couple from Watertown NY drive 200 mi. here to fill in to keep it open. I went there in Jan." a long story". and met them for the first time. They are those kind of people who raise there hands during the service, you know what I mean? Well any how I gave them two Young Harmony cd's that I scarffed up from those guys " YH" last summer and
they fell in love with them especially the testimony one. They had a fellow over to put in some kind of a hot tub "I don't ask". They said he was kind of a loaner but thought he was a Christian but back slidden. They asked him to stay for dinner and had him listen to the testimonies. They said he started to cry and they were able to help him get his life turned around. I guess you never know how or where He is going to do a great work. I don't think I said congrads on that Dove nomination. so here goes Congratulations. Mister Lee

"The Super Praise Concert that was in Beckley WV was great. I wanted to let you know that Young Harmony's song, I'm Trying, helped me and my husband to tare down a wall that has been there for years. Praise GOD for Young Harmony being obedient. Also, a song that was truly a blessing was Day 3. This trio, Set Apart, surely has been called of God to tell of his goodness. Another thing, The Connors, wow! When they sang Classify Me, I thought the whole place was going to rapture. I was able to experience God and the Holy Spirit through the entire night. Ransomed, Chosen, The Dennis Family and Pure Heart were also a blessing to hear. I have never seen such love from a group of singers. We were blessed. Thank you all for letting the Jesus work through you this night."

Ginger,
I Heard you and Johnathan in Summerville GA on  November 1st. When my
husband and I arrived, there was a sign out side the theater saying
"Sold Out". I ask the man at the door if there was room for just two
more people, he replied "Standing room only".   You see, God knew that I
was to be there that evening.   I was on the fence.  I gave my live back
to God July of 2002.  Things have not been easy.  I was being tested of
my faith.  To make a long story short, we had listened to the first two
groups.  It was a blessing, but still had a little - no a lot of dead
feeling.  Then came a group called Young harmony.   When you guys
started to sing, it was just a blessing, however when you sang "God Has
Not Forgotten You"  That song was meant just for me.  I felt like I was
in a room with only God and you guys.  He told me to listen and listen
close.  Through you guys, He told me that I was not forgotten.  See,
that is the way that I was feeling, that GOD had forgotten about me, but
through you guys I have realized he has not forgotten me.  He loves me.
Thank you so much.
God Bless you!
Terri

It is great to see the success that you two are having. You deserve
every bit of it, and more.
There is not to many people today that are great examples of Christ,
but you guys are.
I don't know if I ever thanked you for the food you gave us or the love
you showed to us, but I have not forgotten and never will.

Thanks for all that you have done, we love you both very much,

Johnathan and Ginger,

I just want to send a short note to let you know how very much your music has touched and blessed my life. You guys came to my church Highpoint Church of God in November of 2003 and man you made such an impact on my life. I bought your "Covered" cassette and I have nearly worn it out. I also do sign language to music and I have taught myself to sign "God Has Not Forgotten You." That song has such a special meaning and reaches out to people in an awesome way. I am so thankful that God sent you guys to my church and that I got to meet you. When I am feeling down or just needing to be spiritually blessed i listen to your tape. My children and I know the songs word for word. We are currently trying to find the music to "Just Another Day" so that my 11 Year old daughter and I can sing it at our church. You guys are such a blessing to me and so many other people continue to do just what you are doing. Thank you so much! h for your music and your obedience to God for without him we would be nothing.

God Bless you and your family,

Kathy G.

I listen to the The Gospel Greats every Sunday morning, and one particular Sunday morning I was feeling so overwhelmed with my husband's illness and Paul Heil played the song God Has Not Forgotten You. I stood and cried through the entire song. I know God knows where we are all the time, but sometimes we forget to look to him and we start to feel alone. It was just what I needed to hear at that moment. I wanted to get the CD so I could listen to it, memorize it and sing it to myself whenever I forget that God is always there.

The Lord blessed me through your song and I'm sure he will continue to use your group in the future.

Dear Johnathan & Ginger,

Greetings In Jesus Name:

I am writing to request a  soundtrack of the MUSIC version only of "God
Has Not Forgotten You", as I am entering a gospel talent contest in the
near future and I would like to sing this particular song. I recently
received a cd which has the song "God Has Not Forgotten You" on it and I
will be sending you a payment by mail in the near future.

On one particular day, I was listening to the radio station here in
Somerset, KY 9.05 and while driving along in my car I felt sad and
hopeless in my life and and I had been crying that morning and feeling
that I was forsaken by God and felt in my heart that God did not love
me, as I have fallen by the wayside in my personal life and I have
suffered many heartaches,  and truma events in my life. Then, the song
"God Has Not Forsaken You" begin playing and I felt the tears falling on
my face and knew this was God's way of telling me that he had not
forgotten me.  I am grateful to Young Harmony and the both of you
personally for this beautiful and inspiring song, which touched my heart
and gave me a source of hope and brought sunlight into my day.  If there
is any way possible that you can send me a soundtrack music version of
"God Has Not Forgotten You", I will be glad to send you a payment in
full, just let me know how much I owe you by mail.  God bless you both
in your ministry!
Sincerely,
Sue D.

You always have a way of making me laugh!  Received the GLORY TRAIN ALBUM 2-2-04.  First thing I did was put it in the sub cd player and picked up the kids from school.  Sure was a pick me up.  I laughed with joy because I was remembered, cried with healing coming down from heaven, when I listened to the song God Has Not Forgotten You.  Tears just flowed down my cheek.  When I walked parked the sub, then walked the little bit to pick up the girls I caught myself cornered between three moving cars.  I trembled, then said out loud, I've actually been hit bodily between two cars this is not comfortable for me.  Then I remembered that "God Has Not Forgotten You"' the song and my courage was restored in God.  Which has actually taken 4 years to restore, I felt secure in my position, in spite of the facts, and the situation.  My girls took a hand each and walked me back to my suburban.  God Had Not Forgotten Me.

Jonathan & Ginger,

We were so blessed to have Young Harmony at our church... I don't know if you remember me or not but you prayed with me after the service concerning the 2 children that were missing. Just wanted you to know that God answered our prayers. About 10 days later after some real miraculous things happened. Their grandmother picked them up in TN

I'm telling you. God works miracles. They are visiting us this weekend and doing wonderful. I called their grandmother the night you were there and told her about our prayer. Every time things looked dim, I reminded their grandmother about the hedge of protection that God had around them. That faith kept us going.

God works in wonderful ways. We are experiencing revival at Crestview. You were there just as God had it planned. Keep us in your prayers.

Sincerely,

David L

Johnathan, I heard a testimony you gave on the Gospel Greats radio program for 2/21/2004. You told how the Lord used you when, prompted by the Spirit, you stopped at a Hardee's and witnessed to a troubled man. Your story reminded me of something very similar that happened to me. I was driving home late one night and noticed two people sitting on a bench next to a statue of Jesus. I drove past them and before I went a short distance, then the Holy Spirit prompted me to turn around and go speak to these people. I parked a short distance from them. I then prayed. I asked the Lord to have the people ask for me to speak. I decided to go over to where these people were and sit down and silently pray. If they did not ask me to speak, I would get up and leave. I went and sat down. Next the Lord blew my mind. There was a man and a woman there. As soon as I sat down, the woman asked me "that if I knew Jesus, please tell her friend about Him". " Wow! We then had a lengthy discussion about the Lord. Please pray for this couple, and continue to be the only Jesus that some will ever see.

In Christ, Michael R. Blendowski

Johnathan and Ginger,

I heard your song (see subject) on the hour-long program at KKUS 104 in Tyler, Texas by Tommy Smith. It had my name all over it amd I can only pray that it will be a message for others, too. It couldn't have come at a better time! Tommy spoke highly of you both. I cannot remember now if he said you were planning on being in East Texas in August for the Gospel Music Award presentations. Not everybody believes music to be a form of ministry - but it is. Some people get more out of the message in a song than they do from a sermon! I pray that God will continue to bless you both in all your Christian endeavors and trust you will know how much it can mean to someone out here. Thank you again.

Love and prayers,

Arlene McLaughlin

We are listening to your CD again in the office. "God Has Not Forgotten You" is playing and tears run down both sides of my cheeks. The tears flowing down the right cheek are great tears of joy, the joy of knowing God Has Not Forgotten Me......... Praise His Name!! The tears flowing down my left cheek are for those who do not know the Love of my Father, for my secretary as she faces the terrible, non surgical cancer of her husband. She has a 16 yr old girl and a 10 yr. old boy. Her husband will not see Christmas unless the Lord intervenes.

My son tried to kill himself. He said that he felt so alone and that no one cared. I received a CD in the mail that I won on a Radio program just a day earlier. I let Andrew listen to the song, “God Has Not Forgotten You” and he sat there and just wept. My son is 18 years old and just came to know God through this song.

Thank you for your service, Jackson T. Nashville, TN

Hello Johnathan,

I hope that all is well, things here are looking up! I know that it is because God answers prayers. I love him so much and I can honestly say that I stand in amazement at all of the wonderful things he does for his people! Thank you so very much for praying for my family. It is such a wonderful feeling to know that there is people in this world that will still pray. One thing I know for sure, "God has not forgotten me!" Once again thank you for your prayers. May God Bless you both in all you do!

Dearest Young Harmony,

Last week my husband and I went to see his parents. You just recently
visited their church in Tyler, Tx.

I have seen my father in law become very depressed, but they had
purchased some of your CD's. My father in law put one on for us and I
was so blessed when I watched him. Your music touched his heart so
deeply.

My husband is not yet saved, and he sat and listened to the CD's with
his dad. It was precious to sit and watch as GOD was turning his heart
toward HIM!

My husband so enjoyed the music.
His heart was so open. He said, "These people are REAL"!

My question is this: My husband and I are struggling right now with our
finances, but I saw the glimmer of HOPE that I have been praying so many
years for when I watched him listen to your music with his dad. Would
you please pray and consider sending us some of your CD's?
I hate to ask that, but if you could have seen the look on two men's
faces, no pride, no toughness, no disrespect. Just peaceful and humbled
faces.

You are a blessing.....but I ask that you PLEASE pray FIRST before you
would send anything, I know that this is how you make your own income as
well.

Thank you so very much for your time, thank you for OBEYING the LORD in
what you do! Thank you for giving hope to those who so need it!

All my love to you,
Blessings,
A very grateful and JOYFUL wife.

You were a great blessing when you sang and ministered at Mt Carmel (in spacious, Vancleve, Kentucky) recently. I deeply appreciated your
testimonies and interaction with the audience. Many Southern gospel groups "appear" (or come across as, anyway) to be so slick and in genuine.
Years of ministry on stage before applause and recognition may tend to do that, but both my wife and I (as well as others we spoke to) felt you all were
different. Again, thank you very, very much for allowing Jesus to minister through you.

Hi Ginger,

This is Faye H. from Lakeland, FL .  I just had to let you both know what happened after you left Sunday.  You gave me your Testimonies CD for my granddaughter who was in the hospital because she thought she didn't have anything to live for.  The hospital staff would not let me give it to her while she was there so I took it back home.  Sabrina's mother, my daughter, was staying with me because I live close to the hospital and it was easier for her.  Monday morning when my daughter dropped me off at work I gave her that CD and asked if she would listen to it when she got home.  She said she would.  About three o'clock she called me and asked if I thought my Pastor would talk to her.  I assured her he would if he was in and asked her if she was okay.  She started crying and said that when she heard the testimony about the girl at the bar that this was her last chance she knew she had to get her life right with God and prayed asking for His forgiveness and to come into her life and help her be the mother and wife she should be.   You would have to know her history to know that this was a MIRACLE from God.  That very night, Sabrina was able to tell her mother about being molested at age 12 and that was the hurdle she had to get over to get better.  On Wednesday, Sabrina went home. They both have a long way to go but praise God they're on the right path now.  I cannot thank you and Jonathan enough - not for what you do, but what you allow God to do through you.  May He bless you and keep you in the palm of His hand.  I will be praying for you.

A sister in Christ,
Faye

Dear Johnathan & Ginger,

I guess you can call me a new fan. Just recently I was introduced to your group (family) by a co-worker. You had recently visited her church. To make a long story short, she was there and had purchased your latest singing CD. She really wanted the CD of Testimonies, but did not have the money for this. She said, when she went to pay for the CD, you so kindly told her that she could have the CD of Testimonies as well. She was very excited that she had this. One day at work, she had let me listen to the singing CD, and I was blessed by the songs that were sung. I have recently found myself in somewhat of a battle. Being a Christian most of my life, I found myself in a situation that I never thought I would be. Be it a test or just a battle of the mind, I was to the point of just throwing up my hands and walking away. My friend knew nothing of this. And had offered to let me listen to the CD of your Testimonies. After listening, I told her that I knew why you had given her the CD. If for no other reason, than to lift my faith back up, and bring me out of this place that I found myself in. That has been a few weeks ago. I now can go into the Holidays with a renewed heart and mind, and for that I say Thanks. You and Ginger are truly a blessing. Keep up your work for God. You never know how many people you are reaching and uplifting, and for that Your reward will be GREAT!. Merry Christmas my new friends.
